Windows 7

Just snagged a legit copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, installed yesterday and it’s running like a dream. Granted, 7 is still in the beta stage and won’t be publicly available till 2011 or so, this version is still fully functional and has improved on almost everything that bugged me about Vista. There are some minor visual improvements, enhanced security features, it’s (apparently) much more stable than Vista (only been a day, so I can’t report any stability issues so far), and just an overall cleaner computing experience. The file structure has been reorganized along with the search feature and Start menu, and the user libraries are easier to navigate than before. Once I get a chance to test it some more I’ll report back, but as of now – Windows 7 is simply the shit.
