New Goal: Santa Monica, California

Today is the official halfway point. Day 200 out of my 400 days in Baltimore, Maryland. It feels good to have made it this far. Every day from here on out is one step closer to my return to sunny California. I have been looking at lots of different cities and neighborhoods in the Los Angeles area, and only one has particularly stood out to me: Santa Monica.

Granted, I will most likely move close to wherever a job takes me, but as of right now I have to find a starting place. And that place is Santa Monica. It’s right on the beach (a beautiful one I might add), close to many animation studios, and seems to have the same sort of feel as the beach community where I lived in San Diego. These plans are liquid and subject to change at any point (isn’t that the exciting part?), but I will do everything in my power to make my dreams come true. Always have, always will.
